Georgina Bloomberg is an accomplished professional show jumper based in New York City, N.Y., North Salem, N.Y., and Wellington, Fla. Bloomberg represented the United States Equestrian Team at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto, Canada, where she earned a Team Bronze medal.

In addition to a successful equestrian career, Bloomberg has co-authored four young adult novels about the equestrian show circuit, The A Circuit, and is well known for her philanthropic efforts, particularly for her extensive animal welfare work and for founding The Rider's Closet in 2006.


The Rider's Closet

Founded by Georgina in 2006, The Rider’s Closet’s mission is to ensure that riding apparel is accessible to scholastic riding programs, pony clubs, equestrian camp programs, equine charities and individual riders in need. The program serves riders of all ages and at every level of horsemanship. In 2019, The Rider’s Closet merged with the EQUUS Foundation.

New York Empire

Founded and captained by Georgina Bloomberg, the New York Empire bring an impressive team with a wealth of experience to the 2022 Global Champions League season. The squad consists of Scott Brash (GBR), Denis Lynch (IRE), and Spencer Smith (USA). Joining them as new additions to the team are two highly successful Under 25 riders Harry Charles (GBR) and Jodie Hall McAteer (GBR).
