On Monday night, September 18, 2017, we had a wonderful celebration of the past and present of FOCOS during our 10th Annual FOCOS gala. The event hosted over 400 guests and raised over $700,ooo to support the ongoing work of FOCOS. The funds will be critical to our ability to effectively operate the hospital, including sponsoring patients and addressing critical needs of the organization.
We hope you left inspired and energized about our mission after hearing how our work impacts the lives of patients like Stella and Zewdie and hearing from our honorees.
We thank Georgina and Michael Bloomberg, our Humanitarian Award co-honorees, for their support and advocacy of FOCOS. They provided heart-warming remarks about their relationship with Dr. Oheneba Boachie-Adjei and shared their excitement about the future of FOCOS.
Because of you, the FOCOS Board of Directors and staff are excited about our future. Thanks to all of you who participated, donated, sponsored or volunteered for the event. We could not have done this without you!
